If some of you want an easy trek they can just walk to the Cirque and its famous waterfall (7km, 100m climbing, about two hours walking there and back) but the more ambitious can climb up to the refuge des Espuguettes (13km, 650m climbing, 5 hours round trip) and see the cirque from above. Also, the gite d’etape in Artigue is undergoing renovations (the chambres d’hotes is still open), and in Aulus les Bains the gite d’etape le presbytere is closed and the gite d’etape la goulue no longer does accommodation.
